Letter From The President

Dear Resident, Business and Community Member,

As President of the La Verne Police Officer's Association, and on behalf of our entire membership, we would like to thank you for your continued support. Our mission is to partner with the community and provide quality police services through community interaction that emphasize cooperation, professionalism and ethical behavior.

In this fast-paced and technologically advanced age, we are striving to create a more transparent and communicative approach, which will increase trust and cooperation between our membership and the La Verne community. One way to reach this goal, is by creating this new, interactive website. In the coming months, we will be adding other advancements to achieve this goal. By engaging in community outreach programs, we feel we can make a positive difference in the lives of people who need it most.

The La Verne Police Department consists of 39 sworn officers and sergeants, whom have taken an oath to protect and serve our citizens. You can be assured that each and every day, we are working diligently to build a safe and prosperous community for everyone. We are proud of the various local, regional, state and national charities that benefit

from our support and involvement. The La Verne POA participates in our annual Christmas Basket Food Drives, toy drives, movie night in the park, to name a few, all fall within our vision of a better world with which to live, work and play.
